Creating Products in Sticky
In this article, we'll cover how to create a Standard Product in Sticky and provide a quick overview of each field available during product setup.

Navigating to Products
1. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Products/Offers > Products.
2. Select Standard to create a standard product.
Product Details
Name: The name of your product.
SKU: Shorthand for Stock Keeping Unit. This value is used to identify the product and is passed to your fulfillment provider in Sticky.
Vertical: The industry most closely associated with the product. This is used for internal reporting and analytics.
Description & Images
Description: A brief description of the product. This value can also be used in transactional email notifications.
Images: Upload product images or provide an image URL.
One-time Paired Product
One-time Paired Product: Adds another product to the customer’s first purchase at no additional cost. Subsequent purchases by the same customer will not automatically include the paired product.
Tax Options
Tax Code — The product tax classification used by your configured tax provider, when applicable.
Note: In order for this option to work, you must also enable Taxable under Parameters.
Organization & Pricing
Category: Organizes the product within Sticky. Select an existing category or create a new one.
Price (MSRP): The retail price of the product before taxes, shipping, or other order-level adjustments.
Cost of Goods: The internal cost associated with the product. Sticky uses this value when calculating margin.
Restocking Fee: The amount withheld from a refund when a restocking fee applies.
Max Qty: The maximum quantity of this product that can be purchased in a single transaction.
Parameters
Taxable: Includes the product when calculating applicable taxes.
Shippable: Marks the product as a physical item and passes the purchase to your fulfillment provider.
Digital Download: Marks the product as digitally delivered and enables the Digital Download URL field.
Has Variants: Enables product variants, such as different sizes or colors.
Single Purchase Limit: Restricts the product to a single purchase per customer.
Signature Confirmation: Passes a notice to fulfillment that the shipment requires a customer signature.
Delivery Confirmation: Passes a notice to fulfillment to include delivery confirmation for the shipment.
Shipping Restrictions: Enables country and state-level shipping restrictions for the product.
Delivery Options
If Shippable is enabled under Parameters, a new section will appear on the left with the following options.
Weight: The product weight used for fulfillment and shipping. Select the appropriate unit of measurement.
Declared Value: The value declared for the product when shipping.
Digital Download URL: The URL associated with a digitally delivered product.
Shipping Restrictions
Enable Shipping Restrictions under Parameters to prevent a product from shipping to selected locations.
Country: The country where the restriction applies.
Restricted State(s): The states or regions where the product cannot be shipped.
Advanced Options
Collections: Adds the customer to a Collections .csv list when a transaction for the product fails.
Note: It's generally recommended to instead use Decline Manager, Intelligent Cascading to automate decline retries. Or, simply integrate your email marketing tools to Sticky.
Custom Notifications: Allows you to assign product-specific email notifications and triggers.
License Key Restricted: Enables license keys that can be assigned to customers when the product is purchased.
Create the Product
Once the required fields are complete, click Create product on the top-right of the screen.
Sticky will create the product and assign it a unique Product ID that can be referenced throughout the platform and in API calls.
