Introduction
So you're ready to get started with the sticky.io Subscriptions app for BigCommerce.
Before you do, here are some important things to note and actions to avoid throughout your subscription-selling journey.
Actions to Avoid
Shared modifiers are not supported.
Do not create subscription values manually on the BigCommerce product. Instead, use the sticky.io Subscriptions app to create subscription values.
Upgrading from BigCommerce Version 2 to Version 3 with active subscriptions will render these subscriptions unable to rebill after the transition. Please contact your sticky.io representative if you are interested in upgrading you BigCommerce store version.
Moving from one payment gateway to another with active subscriptions will render these subscriptions unable to rebill after this transition. Please contact your sticky.io representative if you are interested in making a gateway switch.
Things to Note
Refunds do not result in the cancellation of a subscription.
If you are looking to manage your decline management strategy, contact your sticky.io representative. They will assist you with making adjustments and changes. The UI is not visible to you within the application, but it is working on the backend.
The default strategy is to perform 3 retry attempts with 6 days between each retry for a total dunning window of 18 days.
It is important to note that sticky.io does not charge for failed subscription retries, but your payment gateway might be charging fees for these failed transactions.
Subscriptions can be enabled on ten products at a time.
