Steps (to create Pre-Built Bundles)

This configuration is used when a set of products are pre-packaged at the fulfillment center and are represented with a single product SKU. You will be required to define a SKU that will be later transmitted to your fulfillment center. This scenario is your traditional pre-package products being sold as a single unit. Completing this configuration will help with inventory tracking and provide more details on consumer billing.

Examples:
An essential oil company wants to sell 3 of their products as a holiday set, at a price point different than the combined individual product prices.

  • Navigate to the Products page

  • On the “Actions” menu, click on “Add Bundle”

  • Define a Name

  • Select “Pre-Built” (this will determine that only a single SKU will be sent to fulfillment)

  • Define a unique SKU -

  • Pick a Pricing Model

EX: If the Per Item Price (MSRP) is $5 and 3 products are configured in the bundle, the customer will be charged $15 for the bundle
EX: If configured product A has a Price (MSRP) of $10, configured product B has a configured Price of $10.99, and configured product C Price of $15, then the customer will be charged $35.99 for the bundle
Fixed - You set the price, individual product price will not be used
Per Item - define a value that will be applied to each product
Product Price - you cannot set a bundle price. The individual prices of the items will be used

  • Select the appropriate parameters that apply to the bundle. Refer to our Add Products article for questions regarding parameters.

  • Expand the “Bundle Products” section and select the individual products that are part of this bundle. If more than one of the same product is to be included in the bundle, then update the quantity from 1 to the appropriate number. Only include the items that are being packed together.

Steps (to create a Custom Built Bundle with Fixed Price)

This configuration is used when you want to allow your consumers to select their own recurring products for a set price. This setup allows you to entice your consumers to purchase more items at a discount.

 Examples:
An essential oil company wants to sell any 3 products for $45

  • Navigate to the Products page

  • On the “Actions” menu, click on “Add Bundle”

  • Define a Name

  • Select “Custom Built” You cannot define a specific bundle SKU for this type of bundle. The SKUs for the individual products added will be sent to fulfillment.

  • Pick a Pricing Model

  • Fixed - You set the full bundle Price (MSRP), individual product price will not be used

  • Set Max Items to 3, this will prevent your customer for adding more than three products to the $45 bundle

  • Select the appropriate parameters that apply to the bundle. Refer to our Add a Product  article for questions regarding parameters.

  • Expand the “Bundle Products” section and select the individual products that you want to offer for this price point. If there is a premium item that you do not want to allow your consumer to buy at the defined price point, omit adding it to the product list.

*NOTE* If you are using Custom Next Recurring for your Offer, you cannot use a Custom Bundle.

Steps (to create a Custom Built Bundle with Product Price)

This configuration can be used to allow your consumers to sign up for a set of products of their choosing in which the total price is simply a total of the individual product prices.

 Examples:
An essential oil company would like to offer a build your own box of different oils, diffusers and education materials for headache relief.

  • Navigate to the Products page

  • On the “Actions” menu, click on “Add Bundle”

  • Define a Name

  • Select “Custom Build” (this will hide the SKU field. You cannot define a SKU for this type of bundle. The SKUs for the individual products added will be sent to fulfillment.

  • Pick a Pricing Model

  • Product Price - you cannot set a bundle price. The individual prices of the items will be used

  • Define the Max Items (the maximum number of products a customer can add to their bundle)

  • Select the appropriate parameters that apply to the bundle. Refer to our Add a Product  article for questions regarding parameters.

  • Expand the “Bundle Products” section and select the individual products that you want to allow consumers to define as part of their subscription.

Steps (to create Bundle with a One-time Paired Product)

One-time Paired Products are used to associate products to an order in a way that the first time a consumer orders a base product with an associated ‘paired product’ that paired product is automatically added to the order at no cost and ships to the customer. There is logic in our system to prevent the ‘paired product’ from shipping again in the future when the base product is ordered by the same consumer again. However, consumers can still place a standalone order for the paired product if it is configured to an offer.

Product A is created then Product B is created with Product A defined as it’s one-time paired product. The first time a consumer places an order for Product B, Product A is automatically added to the order and shipped at no additional cost to the consumer. The second, third, etc… future order of Product B for the consumer will NOT trigger the automatic shipment of Product B.

Bundle A is created with Product B defined as it’s paired product. The first time Bundle A is ordered, the system will trigger the paired product to ship out.

 Examples:
An essential oil company ships out empty travel size bottles for the first time a customer orders the essential oil starter pack, but they do not want to continue to ship the empty container to the customer after the initial purchase.

  • Navigate to the Products page

  • On the “Actions” menu, click on “Add Bundle”

  • Define a Name

  • Select the appropriate parameters that apply to the bundle.

  • Expand the “One-time Paired Products” section and select the individual product(s) that you want to automatically ship the very first time the bundle is being ordered by a customer. One-time paired products can be configured to product, custom built bundles and pre-built bundles.
