You can easily set up alerts to be delivered directly to your email address with a few simple steps:
1. Navigate to report of interest. Example: Decline Reasons dashboard
2. Set up page filters of interest. For example, if I want a daily alert to check a specific decline reason (reason: “Authentication Failed”), then I need to set up the Date filter to "today" and Decline Reason to "is Authentication Failed". This will let the alert know this is the exact report condition you want to check for.
Note: For text filters, make sure you have the correct filter option applied i.e. here we're using "is" so the text the system will filter for has to be an exact match. Otherwise you will need to change the "is" to "contains", which will try to find any text that contains the word of interest.
After setting up filters, update the report by clicking “Run”.
3. The report will update. Do not worry if there are no results, it indicates the filters applied generates no data for those conditions.
4. Click on the bell on the right upper corner of the tile -shown in step 3 screenshot- and a modal will pop up. Fill in the details.
Note: If you want this as a daily run, it is recommended to set the time for alert to check at the end of the day. If set too early, the report will not capture for day of instances since the instance may not have occurred at that time of day yet. For example, a transaction that takes place at 12pm will not be captured if the alert checks at 5am.
5. You have successfully set up the alert! Click Done to save.
